Pivot Point for UVW modifier

Hello Im scaling a UVW modifier but need to centre the pivot over a particular point.
I can change the pivot point of the object but when i go to the UVW modifier gizmo it always reverts to the originial / object centre. How can i get the uvw modifier to use the adjusted pivot point gizmo.

OK of course now its working, the uvw gizmo is the same as the adjusted object gizmo. But i have no idea why it has now adjusted.

If you use manipulate mode you can grab the edges of a planar uv map gizmo and pull them out. Essentially scaling from the opposite edge not the middle. And you can do the same with the free form transform tool in uvwunwrap. I generally find I need to scale from an edge not the middle and either of those work quite nicely.
