He is hardly gonna say they are evil capitalists out for maximum profit and are going to screw everyone over as much as possible while *just* retaining market share hehe.

No, he wouldn't.

That's about as likely as the average internet poster giving someone the benefit of the doubt, and allowing them to prove themselves rather than laying into them on their first post.

According "LinkedIn" Shane was, and Frank DeLise is PM for 3dsmax.
Ken is (since January) Head of Media Design, i would say AD's think tank for creative art and media business.

It was tongue in cheek as much as an observation. It does sound very much like a delegation of board members wrote that message that is all hehe.

Lets hope you are right any way!
