Not sure if you guys saw this yet but here's a video of the additive modifier creation I posted a while back: https://vimeo.com/36552183

It's been around for a while so nothing new, but hopefully we'll be able to share more soon as we add new stuff and optimize the existing stuff

Any news Marsel?

Old 09 September 2012   #34
Working out some known kinks at the moment, stay tuned. Shouldn't be too long for a beta.

Is this part of the cooperation between Autodesk and Ephere?

This is outside of the scope of our partnership with Autodesk and completely independent.

How is it coming Marcel? Getting close as this is the one tool that I'm really really wanting at this point.

Hey Paul,

Little by little, glad you're looking forward to it. Hope everything's going good on your end.

How does this differ from ThinkBox's Genome?

See, now why can't this be something that Autodesk thought of and developed right into the program? Looks awesome.

I think the products are similar in a sense that they provide schematic interfaces for editing an algorithm. Cortex is designed on top of and integrated deeply into .NET framework, essentially you can use it to connect existing or new .NET components together. You can build on that to create more complex things and then even more complex things from those. Hope it makes some sense.

For those interested, as promised, here is an update:
http://www.ephere.com/plugins/autodesk/max/lab/

Also here are some intro. videos, there will be more added over the next while:

We have renamed the project to "Lab". This avoids certain naming conflicts.

I will be getting back to everyone who requested to be on the beta after the initial announcement earlier this year. It is still pretty early for this tool but we are looking for feedback at this point.

Is it too late to get in on this beta?
