Cool!! Will pick it up from my Subscription Center.

BTW... this topic should've read: "View Cube makes appearance in SoftImage 2011.5"

Some very welcome other GUI enhancements though.

I would love to know who it is at Autodesk that insists on the view cube being implemented into everything. It's a feature that I have never seen ANY of my colleagues use and all of them even go so far as to turn it off, as do I. It's less useful than the previous "axis" that Maya had that would allow you to toggle into orthographic views. That I actually used occasionally. And additionally it takes up too much screen space, and has an ugly aesthetic that is always inconsistent with the rest of the UI

Thumbs up

This is a huge release IMO, bigger than 2011 itself for me!

ViewCube! my life has sense now! I think that viewCube can be useful if it support orthographic mode and NOT perspective. btw Looks like good release, ICE module menus will be great

Proves once more that SI is not just a 'Good companion to Maya' but a very capable package on its own.

Well it seems that now is gonna be really hard to catch up Softimage capabilities by other 3d packages, this is insane work, greatly appreciated, hat off Thiago, Eric and Autodesk.

stunning release

Don`t forget the ICE Bullet integration that Nassos and Helge are doing. Whole studioNest stuff is awesome. Greatness! : )
