3d Artist Cg Student Awards - Winners Announced



(June 6th, 2013) – Imagine Publishing’s leading title for 3D artists and the CG Student Awards are proud to announce the winners of the 3D Artist CG Student Awards for 2013.

Rebranded for 2013 as the 3D Artist CG Student Awards, this annual event showcases and rewards excellence in computer graphics from students and recent graduates. This year’s winners share a massive prize pool of over $160,000USD and seven (7) studio internships spread across United Kingdom, United States and Canada.

From over 326 entries worldwide, the judging panel have hand picked the following winners based on criteria including - creative skills, technical skills, presentation, variety of skills, raw talent and future potential. As with previous years, the results were extremely close. From a total of 1440 possible points awarded by the judges, some winners were separated by as little as 2 points.
