hi Kristy,

was trying to find an email to send this to, but could not find anything, so forgive me for writing it all out here.

I am interested in this rigging workshop, but I have never done one of these. so I am curious how it all works.

1. are class 'sessions' conducted at some predetermined time each week online with live instruction? or is it just a series of videos?

2. if the class will be live, I was not able to find a day/time. for instance is class every Wednesday pacific time usa from 6p-9m? etc etc.

3. it sounds great that we will be able to look back at instructional videos pertaining to the class for 12 months.

4. I know already that I will not be able to attend a 'class' from July 18 - July 2st, that is why I am so concerned about days. I don't want to miss even one class

thanks for any information, I guess you can reply here and I will see it, or email me at vincent_vfx@yahoo.com

thanks very much for any information

Hi Vincent,

Thanks for all your questions! I hope this answers them:

The course is fully online and you can access it from anywhere in the world, in your own time. Each week, the instructor releases new video, course material and class notes via a closed online workshop forum. You watch the video, do the work then upload your assignments each week to the workshop forum. Mauro will give you personal notes on your work via the forum, and the other students in your class (who will be from all over the world) can see and comment on your work too - so there is strong class support.

We suggest you put about six hours per week aside to complete the material, although like anything, the more you put in, the more you'll achieve. All our courses are designed to be flexible so you can fit them around work and study commitments.

You don't usually need to be online at any specific time, and the video, notes and forums remain available for 12 months after the end of the class. You can find out more about how the workshops run here:

Many of our workshops now include live web sessions where you can interact directly with the instructor and your fellow classmates in real-time. These are usually evenings/weekends US West Coast time and are always recorded for those who can't make it.

Hope to see you on the course, Vincent! Let me know if I can be of any further help. You can email me directly on mailto:kirsty@ballisticmedia.net .
