Mindbomb releases Gfx Hotkeys for OS X - Hotkeys for 51 Vfx & Design apps

Hi everyone,

After many requests we have just released Gfx Hotkeys for OS X. The app includes full lists of the keyboard shortcuts for 51 Vfx & Design applications like Maya 2013, Smoke 2013, Final Cut X, Nuke and many other applications from Adobe, Autodesk, BlackMagic etc.

Here are the main features:

- Search through the hotkeys for any of the 51 included applications.
- Constantly running in the background, invoked with a single key press.
- Tracks the application you are using.
- Beautifully designed, uses colour themes inspired by the selected application.
- Minimal interface, focusing only in the features you need.
- Customisable. Define your own hotkeys and the most used applications.
- You can define up to 5 other applications to quickly switch with the any hotkeys you want.
- Includes the hotkeys for OS X, Windows and Linux.
- You can select any of the 51 included applications with a single key press.
- Lightweight with minimum memory footprint.

Looks really nice, but there's some patching to do - all the official Autodesk icons just changed today.

Also, as someone who can only remember about 6 hotkeys, its ironic the app itself is reliant on its own hotkeys. Still, I may give it a shot.

As soon as new autodesk product line released we have to update the hotkeys anyhow together with the icons.

You just need to remeber one hotkey, Cmd-Option-Shift-Space (can be changed). This will give you access to 38.000 others!

Well I went for it, but was thwarted by the Mountain Lion minimum requirement.

Yep that requirement was not meant to be there. We design it for 10.7 but somehow flagged as 10.8 before release. I will issue an update soon to get rid of this.

Okay, but we're still on 10.6. You might want to consider getting a grip on backwards compatibility if you're targeting professionals. You've got Nuke 6 on there and Maya 2011&12 - None of those are certified for 10.7 or 10.8.

We want to do that, there is no reason to limit our product to specific audience, although we are pretty small team and we need resources and testing environments we do not have. Backward compatibility are one of the hardest things to accomblish.
