[Rumor]new Mac Pro shipping sometime March (maybe)

In the wake of last years Event there was part of an eMail, that was called Legit by Apple Press Agency:
Quote: [...] Our Pro customers like you are really important to us. Although we didn’t have a chance to talk about a new Mac Pro at today’s event, don’t worry as we’re working on something really great for later next year. [...]

Since the Mac Pro had to be changed in terms of design this way or that way to suit a new set of regulations and had to be taken out of sales on March 1st (safety regulations), it seems very possible that the new model will be put into place in late February.

Just wanted to let you know, since i know some time ago a couple of people were upset, that there were no news on an updated Mac Pro.

Well, tough luck for the EU: beginning March 1, Apple is no longer allowed to sell the current Mac Pro in the EU due to new safety standards regulations coming into effect at that date.

The fans are deemed 'unsafe' - hilarious.

New mac pro on the horizon? I'll believe it when I see it.

... and we should be sticking out fingers into the casing of the computer while it's running. Maybe there should be a Darwin clause for people who would do this.

The news title is kind of very misleading.

The only news is, that Apple will stop selling the current model of the Mac Pro in the EU on March 1, 2013.

Anything else is just speculation.

Yeah now you mention it...i really didn't think it through that it is just a speculation that it will come that early considering it is not the major cash cow iMac or iPhone are.

I'll try to edit it to something less flamboyant.

People have such short memories it seems. There is no speculation folks. A new Mac Pro design is in the works for 2013.

'Apple Says New Models, Designs for Mac Pro In Works, Due in 2013'.

I for one already have money set aside for one, should it prove a worthwhile addition to my still extremely capable 2010 Mac Pro.

Honestly I would love that Apple invest into better support of OpenGL before releasing new MacPro. Spending that much of money for MacPro and having mediocre OpenGL support, even though your hardware can support MUCH more, is ridiculous. My MacBook Pro is eating 3x more geo on Ubuntu than on ML ...

Yeah it's well known there is a new one coming the point of speculation was just when i guess.
What iam suprised in terms of Apple is, that the Frostbyte engine is to be ported to be ported OSX...but for which model? the only one that could run it is the Mac Pro...

Isnt Intel about to release a new 10 core xeon "soon" ish, that will blow current market procs out of the water? I doubt Apple's waiting on that, but if they were, thatd be a ridiculous machine.

Frostbyte runs just fine on mobile hardware - BF3 plays smooth as butter on my rMBP and I'd say the porting of Frostbyte is more an expanding to meet more market share than to fit a specific computer spec.

Ok thats good to hear. Even as an Windows PC User (just owning an iPhone) i still respect the production quality of apple machines. My dad asked me which laptop he should by for his kids in school (he is a head teacher and needed one so the kids can learn to handle small stuff for the new homepage) and looking at Sony, HP, Dell, in an Area around 800 Euro you just realise how much better Macbooks are built. I thought iam going to rip off the monitor of the next Sony vaio ight there in the store. So i kinda care for apple too.

All for a very affordable price of.....
$4616.00

first up, i don't set the prices.

2nd with 3 machines thats ok, if you want to render etc, but what are you gonna do if you need it all in one box? You could go amd, they are about 1/4 of the price.
