iAnimate.net Podcasts

In an effort to keep the communication coming, we've decided to invade the air waves! We are going to start doing this thing called...wait, let me find the terminology..."podcasts". Every heard of it?
There are some great animation podcasts out there already, but with all that's going here at iAnimate and the amount of talent we have available (instructors, students, and co-workers), we figured who wouldn't like to hear more.

Our second podcast (direct link below) we interview Doug Bennett, iAnimate instructor and Animation Supervisor at Disney (WDAS), and his work on 'Wreck-it Ralph'.

iTunes download | RSS Feed | Direct download interview with Doug Bennett

Enjoy!

I saw an interview with iAnimate over on 3dtotal.com a few months back and thought it looked like a good study option. I've always been unsure of online courses as you have to find that inner motivation and drive to get all of your work done without any teachers or peers!

One of the things I've found, having been a student at iAnimate, is that because we have plenty of professionals who come in to refine their skills, it raises the level around you and really pushes you and helps that "inner motivation." That and because things are live (i.e. lectures & reviews, you don't feel isolated.

I can agree.

IAnimate was the best decision I have ever invested my money into. All I got to say is it's more face time with these mentors (Professional Animators) than you want. They want to teach you a lot, and sometimes your in a lecture for 2-3 hours. I know reviews normally last that long.

Weekly demos from( Supervising Animator at DreamWorks) Jason Ryan!

OMG RIGGS!

If you want a career in Animation why not.

Larry your Beast glad you guys are still staying at it. I'm jealous of the new students though they have way more riggs. The Cry-engine character is crazy.

Love it keep going and stay in touch.

Just put up another podcast a couple days ago. This one is with one of our new rigging instructors, Jonah Austin: The Art of Rigging and Animation with Jonah Austin

Lots of new podcasts since I last posted. Our latest one is with Jason Ryan and Mike Walling talking a lot about animation workflow, using reference, etc., as well as their time on Croods.
