CGWorkshops: High-End Fantasy Game Art Creation
Games look amazing these days, and trying to create all the necessary assets at such a high standard can seem overwhelming. Often, we have a vision that we want to see come to life, but it can be tough with all the tools out there to complete it.
Join Katon Callaway as he guides you through the process of creating high-quality, industry ready assets that can be used in modern engines.
Over these eight weeks, we will try to cover all the bases needed to help you reach the result you want without interfering with your artistic ability. By the end of this workshop, you will have a better understanding of the high-end character creation process as well as be at a point where you would feel comfortable working in a studio with a full understanding of how the process works.
“We will be covering a lot of material in this class, and your commitment is paramount,” says Katon. “I believe that you will learn most by just jumping in with me and making those valuable mistakes that will make you a better artist. I will be working on a model alongside you guys, so I will not only be showing you techniques for this, I’ll be putting them into practice with my own model.”
For a detailed week by week course guide, checkout CGWorkshops .
Katon will be running live weekly webinar sessions during this workshop, so you can ask questions and receive answers live. Each week, the webinar will be recorded and uploaded to the class for those who cant make it.
This course sells out every time it runs, and feedback from students has been consistently great. Enroll now or risk missing out!
"Katon's support during the course was one of the best things, he followed each student with the same passion, always giving rock solid feedback." Federico Scarbini - student
"This was a great workshop! In 2 months I've absorbed some tricks and techniques that I'm sure took Katon years to refine. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to push their artistic/technical skills further, and also gain some clarity about building a character from start to finish." - Tali Kaniatobe, student June 2012
