Darksiders 2 :: Game Production Focus

Hey there,

THQ and Vigil Games worked closely with Sydney animation studio Plastic Wax Animation to create in-game cut scenes as well as a slew of cinematic promotions for Darksiders 2. Talk to the guys at Plastic Wax here and comment on their work.

Smile Mocap

Didnt like the animation, too clumsy, that's the problem with the mocap, they have to improve a lot that system. same happen with tintin. excelente textures, awesome lighting, modeling, but the animation just wasnt good. clumsy and without weights.

But in general i like the Darksiders 2 cinematics.

Thanks for all the kind words guys

These Darksiders 2 cinematics were so fun to work on, such bad-ass character designs and an amazing game, who could not love it!!

The feedback on them has been overwhelmingly positive, it is so good to hear and means alot to myself and the team here at PW
