Very true! I was just reading the "Autodesk will not continue to market and sell Naiad as a standalone product but it is anticipated that certain Naiad technology may find its way into future Autodesk offerings" statement as a sign that we might see it in Maya soon. Just my hope anyway.

I do understand what everyone is saying but since I do rely on the AD suite for the work I do, having this incorporated is only going to help me out.

pshaw. 3ds Max's legacy blob mesh can handle the meshing for integrated naiad...sorry...I couldn't say it with a straight face.

Man alive! Cgtalk is full of whinger and moaners recently!

Yes its sad that they sold out, but they did, and im looking forward to a max integration in the future.

Same wishful thinking I read when they bought the mudbox.
I don't hate autodesk but their track record is unsurprisingly not good.
