Problem in merging two riged files in max 2013

i have a problem Importing a files
I have a file containing the head of a character and it's rigged. and the another file is character's body... when i want to merge
the head to the body in max, some objects won't merge... they're not even in the merge list
and renaming the object's names doesn't change anything
how can i solve this problem?
I work in 3Ds Max 2013

hello hamus,

it's impossible to trouble shoot this issue with the amount of information that you've given. The best advice I can give you is to try to isolate whatever it is that's breaking, if you tried merging the body rig into the head rig and it broke, why not try merging the head rig into the body rig file? Also what happened when you tried to merge? did BOTH rigs explode? or was it more like one part of one of the rigs exploded. I hope this helps!

There aren't any problem when i merge the body rig in the face rig. But i want to merge all rigged files in other file that my problem appears!
I think that it's because of max bug, because my points aren't in merge list at all.
