CINEMA 4D R 18 Content browser - my personal asset

Hi everybody,

I did new objects again (thanks to Dimitris), maybe something around 70 objects, maybe more, really donīt know. Simply, I did many models (esp. for Visualize) but thatīs not all, other artists also did tons of new objects/rigs and examples, so I think itīs pretty interesting "feature" of the release again.

Iīm actually rendering several of them, so letīs take it as an invitation to the content browser. Itīs cool (broadcast examples for instance, these mograph artists are really good! new materials, textures etc.).

My asset is:

furniture (bedside tables, office desks, bookcases, coffee tables (all the drawers are rigged, you can use the system at your own objects, also doors hinges are technically accurate and work properly), lightsources (the neon tube is rigged of course), table + floor lamps (rigged), some small things such as pencils, pens, soccer ball, roulette table, toaster, weighing scale, bluray disc player, clocks (yep, check the rig inside, you can easily redesign it) we fixed my faults (doors) and also some mograph - charts stuff (itīs even improved, you can use also values there, scale it and so on), wood kid train (wood shader example and so on.... BTW, the pavement rig is also updated (itīs using the honeybee mode)

so, does anyone want any toast??

toaster

bedside table

yep, we also did a very classical looking furniture "line". Itīs definitely horrible looking design, but i like the model. BTW, itīs fully modeled.

Funny thing, I doesīt use new AO, for the speed. So it uses vertex maps for automatically generated scratches only.

cabinetretro

rendered with C4D "pavelrender" , yep, with my almost unbias C4D rendering trick.

The mesh-flow on the front of those drawers is incredible. Did you sculpt and then retopo, or did you model that in?

letīs read and play

hi there

here are two new objects I rendered. Yet another "classical" looking bedside table (there is another one yet, but darker) and a wood shader example I did for R16 demonstrated at the little train/toy. Oups, I forgot, the floor is a texture, not a shader. Just the train...

Lovely

Great work, looking fwd to playing with these in R18.
On a side-note does the new viewport now make "Pavelrender" more usefull? you can see colours etc because the reflectance is viewable in the viewport etc?

Illuminate it! I have an idea flower for you

the neon light is fully rigged. The asset contains all of them, just a LED light is actually missing .

great work

very nice work .
just a question , do those models come with pavelrender materials or basic materials ?
I am asking this because usually content browser materials are very simple.
anyway the pavelrender is very funny , what is missing is a better IPR window for c4d

AFAIK c4d R18 new viewport support those materials , so we can see the colour
the technique will be much useful in c4d R18 .

Nice work

Hi, nice work. I have a current paused wip of complex hard surfaces, for a building... When I saw that desk of yours I got really curious how you model that decorative embossment on the drawer, do you have any tutorial about it?

I'm very impressed with those ornaments and would love to know how to do that.
Any tips, Pavel?
Thanks!

No problems, just sweeps and I always counted all the polys at their edges. It was the key

Yes, I agree, I use it all the time . I love the layers soooo much. Anyway, what I just need is to save psd files without folders... Due Fusion you know (and Fusion PSD files import)
