Render image Looks different in PS

Hi,

All most all images looks very fine and bright in C4D render picture viewer and when I open that in Photoshop.... looks dull, crappy colors.

Using Mac OS X.
In render, gamma is set to 1.8 and Photoshop is on default color setting.

How can I see render picture same color quality in PS...?

Thanks.

Where are you setting the gamma and why are you setting it to 1.8?

I am using Vray Render engine and Gamma setting is in Vray render setting.

Even in C4D advance render.... it also looks different.

Since it's a Vray render ... Stephan would be able to answer your questions better than
non Vray users. Without a stripped down file ... what are we suppose to do ?

What version of Photoshop? Sounds like a color profile issue to me

Mac gamma is now 2.2, just like PC.

From Snow Leopard on I think it was.

Using CS6, I think also it is about profile issue.... but how, its default setting, C4D render and open in PS... a big difference. I need C4D color in Photoshop...!

I tried Vray forum but its not Vray issue.

@Kiwi, Thanks for link, I will try that.

I agree sounds like a color profile issue. I'd try setting C4D to sRGB under project settings and set PS to sRGB profile also and see if that gets closer.

Profile looks fine to me...
Here it is. Anything to change here...?

Just wondering ...

Have you tried moving your Ps color settings back to "Syncronized" to see
the results with that profile ?

Above screenshot color profile is my current setting and top above shown the difference is C4D and PS colors.

Where is syncronized to change setting...?

Check the linear workflow, that really shifts the color brightness, it looks unchecked.

Adobe Bridge controls color sync within all CS6 apps.
Open Bridge > Edit > scroll down to Creative Suite Color Settings > Choose from list

Per attachment, I have mine set to what's highlighted in blue. Your choice may differ.
After choosing ... click on Apply ... it should go back to "Synchronized" ... double check in Ps.
