Detach spline from object

I need to create a standalone spline from the edge of an object. I use C4D R13.
Split command doesn't do a job. Urgent help needed.

There is an "edge to spline" command. Menus have changes and I can't recall where it was in R13, but it's in the menus or you can search in the command manager.

Thumbs up

AdamT, thank you very much, it works! Found this command via Customize Commands dialog.
BTW I could't find it in the dropdown menus, so my another question, how can it be properly located? I've searched Edge to Spline in Help & found nothing :(
Thank you!

Structure > Edit Spline > scroll down ... should work

Cool

It seems that R13 doesn't have Structure menu.

R13 and up: Mesh -> Commands -> Edge to Spline
