A dire request for assistance

Hello all,

Our landlord at the current residence has decided to end our lease at the end of its term (Oct. 31) so we had no choice but to seek a new residence. The problem is that with university getting underway nearby and the recent floods in the foothills, residences are at a premium. I inquired about nearly 20 places and only had 2 responses. The rest were snatched up within days.

The first place was gone the same day that my application and fee were provided. So it was down to one residence at a reasonable rent. We got a lease but the owner increased the rent by $200/mo! There was little choice in the matter: pay that much or be homeless. Suffice it to say, we are paying $3000 in three weeks for full deposit, first month's rent, and this month's partial rent. That is a heavy bucket of change in short order which doesn't even include bills and necessities.

I do not like asking but I must request that if you can donate or purchase plugins, I would be so ingratiated to you. We are currently working on a contractual project that is drawing to a close and sales have been really slow due to many factors I would imagine. Every bit will help us stay afloat until we stabilize from this massive bleeding of money.

Thank you for your consideration and assistance,
Robert

A bit of help

Hi Robert,

Sorry to hear that you are having all these problems.

I use your plugins on a daily basis and they are great.

Hey gang, this is the time where we can do something for one of our great plugins developper.

If we all pitch in, this will make a difference, just get a plugin or donate.

Jean

Always been curious about Greebler, any way I can see the interface? Sorry to make this more work for you, just want a little extra info. Would be happy to make a purchase!

Time to repay Robert's generosity in providing free plugins for C4D users at large and going out of his way to help other developers on Plugin Cafe.

Thank all of you for helping out!! Still in the red but a lighter shade.

I am going to try to keep my computer and internet set up at the old residence until Tuesday. Here is hoping that Comcast can get me reactivated next Friday as scheduled.

Take care,
Robert

I picked up Greebler and Unfurl, and am liking them a lot! Good luck Robert!

Update: 2 hours later and I can say with certainty that everyone should have Greebler, this thing is really cool! I haven't fully checked out Unfurl yet but I imagine it will do some cool motion graphics stuff with its folding ability. Thanks for the plug-ins!

hi robert,

i've had interposer pro and greebler on the farm for a long time, i actually was not aware they were even R15 compatible as your web site does not indicate they are

also i am not even sure how to acquire my new R15 serial numbers for them (if these current versions are compatible)

perhaps updating the site and keeping that info easily found and accessible for potential purchasers would help with sales as well... (not everyone is on the forums to find out the info through the grapevine way)

thanks

I remember my scene was the first to use IPP on renderking in 2008. A very friendly move of both of you to get things going for me. Ever since Robert has been most helpfull with his plugins. So a donation was the least I could do, maybe I also buy a copy of Dropit pro.
