Knife Loop Snapping to Grid

This is a problem that I've had since R14 *I want the knife loop to snap to grid lines. In previous releases (R13 and below), when "Snap to Grid" is enabled, and I'm in one of my viewports (for instance, "front"), a knife loop would snap exactly to the grid line (the nearest grid line, regardless of where my cursor was). So, essentially, I could precisely create loop cuts according to the grid.

Since the new snapping tools in R14 and R15, no matter what settings I've enabled (or disabled), the loops will not snap to the grid. Strangely, it appears that my cursor as I move around, is snapping to grid lines and points (See attachment), but when I clock to cut, it cuts where my cursor is (regardless of the snapping it appears to be doing).

This is hard to explain. But hopefully it makes sense to someone.

72 views and not a single reply? Am I asking a dumb question, or does no on know the answer? Hmm. Help would be greatly appreciated.

This feels buggy to me, I think best to report it. I'll do the same.

cheers
