How to Split a Capsule into Two

I know this seems too basic, but I just couldn't find a work around, and I need to do it badly. Basically, what I want is two break the capsule into two, and that in to two separate objects.I need to put some objects inside the capsule and animate it breaking apart into two. The split must divide the capsule equally.

I tried dividing it with a Knife tool, but they are still connected whenever I move the other half. Please, if you have time, kindly answer me.

there is a cineversity pill tutorial that covers literally this very type of thing. It makes the capsule halves fills it with spheres and does a dynamic sim of the objects falling out after it pulls apart.

Thanks for the prompt reply Lucent Dreams, but it looks like the tutorial is on premium members only.

But thanks again mate!

I found another tutorial,

But I can't watch it, because I have to register, and I can't register because my country is blocked in the registration list

I got it. It's the split command. A guy from other forum helped to it. Thanks again for the reply dreams

Just make 2 capsule primitives
Make them editable
Delete points from each
Move the halts together

If one half is suppose to fit into the other, scale that half and extend points
to however far in the half should go.
