Character Object Question
Hello,
Lets say you have a rigged model, say the spi-bot model that comes with R14 (the one with the C-Motion on it). But let's generalize it to any rigged model with the character object. Now lets say you want to make it bigger so it has the right scale in your scene. How can you do this. I would like to do use that Spi Bot model but when I try to scale it up it seems to fall apart. I thought maybe it would work by grouping them under a null but it still doesn't work. How do you do this? |

Best Way is use the scale project setting. Go to attribute manager 'Mode' menu and choose 'project' and it's under the project settings tab.
This way leaves all scales at 1,1,1 & even fully animated characters should be no problem. To work out how much you want to scale it, you can try scaling with the 'object' mode instead of the 'model' mode. __________________

Thanks. I just was fooling around with that, but I didn't know about the object mode. I will look into that. I had another question about how to delay c-motion to a particular time in the project, but I will post that into another thread.
