Arrow Thinking particle C4d & 3D Max technique

I watched that technique with 3d Max and actually i try to do the same with C4d

1- Emitting the particle from the surface of the Sphere for example .

(( I do it that with Xpresso ... ))

2- I try it to force the Particle to do the same organic moving ... I do it that using PWind and play around Trublance option .

>> I try it hard but i wasn't able at all to get the same Organic moving at all !!!

I was woundring how they was able to to force particle to take that round effect ...
Later i Notice that they using maybe a plugin call Fumefx for 3D Max...

So i start to play around with Our Famous plugin TurbulenceFD ,,, But also i wasn't able to get the same effect at all !!!

I wish if any one have any experience about how to make the same ... I am sure that cinema 4d Particle system is so strong and can do the same effect ... Any ideas !!

You are almost there.

You need to use a pPass Node to send the particle data to your pWind (see attached)

Many Thanks travismetcalf

You get the point Sure ... ... I have little question ...

I notice that he make first the particle make a turbulence effect inside the object and that is what i am not doing ..

then i guess he connected the motion of the particle to his plugin FumeFx .. to generate the smoke with the same motion of his particle ....

And in secound 38 In the video ... I am not sure if what i am thinking right !! " He start to give a Sphere shape for the particles .. and then he used " the somke he generated before " to drive the particles to take that organic effect outside the sphere ??

Not sure if what i am guess is right ,, as i try to get the same effect with C4D !!

And many thanks travismetcalf for taking time to watch and giving a hand .

travismetcalf any Idea about how i can apply the same effect with C4D in the last steps !! ...

the TP inherit the fluid motion from the fumefx grid velocities.
you can do this inside c4d with turbulence4d.
hope this helps

Ive never worked with any of the various fluid sims. Hopefully someone on here can get you going in the right direction with that part of it. Best of luck!

you can advect (thinking) particles in turbulence4d directly.
that´s what he does in the video with fumefx.
hope this helps

Thanks travismetcalf , fuat

But fuat

I thought in the first that he used FumeFX to force particles to get that advect motion and i try it to do the same effect with TFD but i didnt get the same smooth motion ... i think there are advance option with FumeFX which make that radial effect

but later when i focused in the video i notice that he started first with thinking particles .. then he used FumeFX to make that smoke effect !!

and after that " I guess " >> he started to give a Sphere shape for the particles .. and then he used " the smoke he generated before " to drive the particles to take that organic effect outside the sphere ?? as the last Pic .. !!!

Actually I am trying and trying .. so i will try now to using Particle first this time and end up with TFD ...

" AS Pic here he started with Thinking Particle he add wind in two Directions for truculence effect !

any other help with that .. !!

afaik (i didnt watch the whole movie, only fast forwarded it to get an idea of what is happening) he uses PFlow (not thinking particles, but that doesnt make any difference here) with 2 spherical winds i think to get the first "fluid" looking (not fluid actually) behaving motion. we dont have pflow in C4D but you can do this in TP with PWind set to spherical and tweak the settings.
after that he starts with advecting the fumefx velocities. that is where tfd comes in.

thats all i can say, the rest is up to you....
good luck!

Thanks ... fuat ... Much appricating ,,, I will try .. and when Finishing it i will Publish the work here it must be useful for others !!

I wish if there are any one can drop any idea ...

Thanks in advance ..
