My guess is that both teasers are about c4d - ae working together?

...very excited about this

It's clearly about free Pilsner for MSA subscribers...

Second best would be :
- "Realtime" progressive viewports... (Cycles/Modo)
- Nodal architecture (xpresso-like for materials and compositing?)
- Two-way dynamic link with After effects...
- Render layers?

Third best would be :
- Multihreading everything...
- Bevel tools (jk)...

Since it's NAB it's going to be something the motion graphics guys would like. I agree that it's probably some sort of Adobe integration. I'd wait until August to get your hopes up on the bevel tool.

...and in the meantime, look no further than the Solidchamfer plugin for nice bevels in cinema 4d. :-)

I hope it's good!

Quote from video 'it was too absurd to even think that something like this was even realistic'.

Sweet, looking forward to hearing about the new 'Time Travel' module in R15. No longer will it be a problem to get those 3D jobs done for clients who 'need it done yesterday'.

Cheers,
Brian

Sorry to disappoint you, we had to scrap that because the time travel module always ended up delivering the solution into a parallel universe, not that of the customer :/

Ah, maybe in a future version so then when they've worked out those issues.

I believe another issue is the whole copyright area with time travel, once you can do it what's to stop someone else going back to the day before you invented it and patenting the same technology before you do. (Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy geek here, sorry).

Cheers,
Brian

Then there would be no copyright as it wasn't copyrighted or invented yet Awful loop but great movie!

Pure guesswork on my part, but I'm thinking it might have something to do with leveraging point position/normal/depth passes to allow relighting and other realtime effects in AE/PS. Should be interesting whatever it is.

"Everyone's wanted this for years and we thought it was just too absurd to even think that something like this was realistic"
It's easy. A freaking decent bevel tool.
