Lightbulb SuperVoxels Plugin by Remo

Hello,

here is a new plugin for Cinema 4D then I have worked the last time.

SuperVoxels is plugin for Maxon Cinema4D R14. It is a multi threaded voxel generator and processing tool for C4D. It also voxel cloner, tetraeder generator, TP generator, Iso Surface Polygonizer, Point Cloud Generator and more…

Awesome. Does it work with the Physical engine? Motion blur?

Hi, Wow.
I'm interested in the Surface Polygonizer (I guess?) I'm impressed with it's ability to boolean objects AND create a fillet at the junction, try that with traditional tools. Can SuperVoxels add details at selected junctions or the whole objects have to be equally subdivided?

No it can not add detail but reduce it.
If you lock at this IsoPolygonizer video then you can see how it should work.

If this is about Dynamics then yes it should work.

Does this work with OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), or only 10.7/10.8?

Right now it only work with OS X 10.7, 10.8 and higher.
Not sure if there will be version for 10.6.8 in the future but I will lock at this.

Definite buy from me if it can be compiled for 10.6.8!

Just curious, from a plug-in developer viewpoint, what difference does the version of the OS make?

Also, is it possible to put these voxels into a mograph system?

If you lock at the table at XCode Wiki then you can see that all new version simple do not support OS X 10.6 any more.
So to be able to compile for 10.6 you will need old XCode any may be even old OS X too.
I work most of the times on Windows using Visual Studio so XCodeis not my main coding IDE.

You can use point cloud output of SuperVoxels as a input of MoCloner.
For now there is no specially support for MoGraph but in the future version there probably will be one.

Totally understand about the issues with newest Xcode. It was just the first time I had come across something, application or plugin, where Snow Leopard (10.6) was left out of the mix.

Nice demos Remo, this looks like a must buy Reminds me of my experiments back in the Ditools days...that toolset was so ahead of its time.

Very interesting tools in there with the dynamics support and the isosurfaces. Being able to use the point cloud for TP emission also opens up a lot of possibilities. (As a side note, it seems that the upcoming x-particles 2 will have a set of xpresso nodes, so good times for particle nuts).

Ok, so I just ordered....look forward to having a play with it!
