camera shader size limitation?

Not sure if this is a bug, a limitation or user error but I'm using the camera shader in R14 and am running to an issue that seems to be related to the resolution size.

If I render with a resolution of 800x800, the camera shader works as expected. In fact, any rez with a film aspect ratio of 1 or greater works. When you render at 800x801 or any film aspect ratio of less than 1, the camera shader no longer renders. See the linked scene file for reference.

Any ideas? thanks in advance for any insight!!

No ideas I'm afraid, but I can confirm that it doesn't render with any portrait aspect ratio. Viewport renders seem to work though – odd.

cheers

works fine in both R12 and R13

Strange. I just tried it in R13 and, for me, it's broken there too.

You can have a look at our Camera Shader (free) for a quick alternative

As long as the width is higher than the height, the image renders for me (so 800x799 works, too) - but the image is getting stretched if the proportions are not 1:1 ... very strange.

Thanks everyone. Seems it is a bug and Mallard's camera shader does the trick as a workaround. Cheers!
