Xfrog into C4D

I've upgarded to OS 10.7 so that Xfrog for C4D can work.
What's the best way to get Xfrog models that I've bought from Xfrog into C4D?

Opening an xfr file causes the Mac to freeze - totally crap.

Opening a 3DS works, but the Xfrog objects aren't in the object pane. Just regular objects.

The xfrs are the only procedural files that will give you the xfrog objects to adjust yourself.
The .c4ds, .3ds etc are just meshes with a basic material setup in the respective format.

Whatever format you buy, you get that, + the xfrs.

I'm using the plugin in R14 on PC to bring in the xfrs & it works fine.
Have you tried different xfrs ? this is really the way to go , if you can't get it to work I would suggest you contact them or post on the forum.

I've tried about 5 different xfr files and they all crashed C4D.
Is this a Mac OS Lion problem? If so I'd like to know why the plugin demands Lion when C4D is happy in Snow Leopard.

Last October I tested the Xfrog 5.02 for CINEMA 4D on both OS X and Windows 7.
I found that importing XFR format models on OS X caused CINEMA 4D to crash and it was necessary to do a hard shutdown of OS X 10.8.2 and restart OS X.

On Windows 7 it worked perfectly.
