Hi Guys,
i am not dead
unfortunately my site is down for some technical reason since some moths and with it also some mails account linked to it so maybe i miss some mails.
Anyhow, situation is that. SpeedMud is not available for R14 and will not be available in future.
i am sorry i can't say anything about future plans, but snapping/guide/workplane system in R14 are better and powerful then the old one in speedmud.
i understand that are some missing features on tool side, sorry for that but at the moment this is the situation.

Franz

PS can´t draw polygon (lines) and extrude this in one step!

You´re right, PS is much more intuitive and easier to handle.

DragPrimitive can (with DPsolid-tool)!

Ah, the DPsolid tool I missed. That's great indeed!

I'm sorted. Thanks everybody for the links and advice.
All I need now is to figure out how all the advanced features work, but then I'm only 4 days into my C4D life. I'm now relieved that I don't have to crawl back to Sketchup for forgiveness!!!

I bought Drag primitive and are trying some stuff with DP Solid, but it is crashing C4D like hell on OSX. Is it me or is the OSX version just unstable?

Same thing with me. Have you emailed the developer?

Yes I did. Maybe you should do the same?

Totally not usable at the moment for me. In the mean time you could try the free version of Primitive Sketch. Use the box primitive for simple drag and pull (rectangular) wall-segments.

I did. Nothing back yet. I guess some rewriting needs doing. I'll look into that, thanks.
