SpeedMud

Anyone know if SpeedMud works with R14? I've just bought R14 and find it almost impossible to draw quickly in the way I could in Sketchup. And from what I gather, SpeedMud might be the answer to my problems. I've tried Franz's posted websites and even his blog but all I get to look at are sponsored links all over the place. Has he / it disappeared?

Itīs half integrated in R14 modeling tools now.
Franz "must stop" developing for R14, because Maxon bought SpeedMud.

I use DragPrimitive from anoano (coffeestock.sitemix.jp) to complete, what C4D has only half integrated.
With the DP-Solid option, you can draw polygon plane or outlined walls

I donīt know why Maxon do only the half job !
I think, they have then more features for the next update (R15 or R14_5).
Thatīs seems to be Maxons sales policity :(

Finally the existing regular SpeedMud users are "forced to wait" for the missing functions and have no possibility to use SpeedMud in R14.
(because NO R14 SpeedMud support allowed from Maxon)

Very unfortunate for this regular users, but calculated wanted from Maxon.

Primitive Sketch is also very usefull for quick drawing forms (Pro version with snapping). I haven't tried drag primitive yet but will check that out.

many thanks guys.
So Drag Primitive is what I need to draw anywhere on the ground and do the simple things in Sketchup like draw walls and pull them up to same heights etc etc. That will be catered for? Looks like it, going on the YouTube demo.

It's available from the anoano japanese website only?

Maybe also try the free version of primitive sketch too.

Yes, aviable from his JP-side ( ca. 30 Euro )

Do you have a link perhaps for the Drag Primitives place in non-Japanese?

I own Primitive Sketch also, and like it

But PS canīt draw outlined poly lines, which can extrude to a wall (in one step !) - like SpeedMud.

Thanks Colin, that's the Japanese site. I was wondering if there was a Euro version?

I keep going round in circles and it's still all in Japanese. All in yen. 3000 Yen. Is that the only website that sells it?

Old 02 February 2013   #14
3000 Yen = ca.30 Euro = ca.32 US Dollar

This is the only site. Whatīs the problem?

I don't see much difference with Drag primitive by the way. Primitive Sketch is much more intuitive and looks featurewise almost the same.
The box primitive is what you want. Draw and pull up like in Sketchup.
