FS_preview_render python script for R14

Hi There,

There is a new version of the FS_preview_render python script. working with physical renderer of R13 and 14.
it is a smal tool to make preview renders in the picturemanager without the need to change the final rendersettings.

a smal tutorial can be found here: http://vimeo.com/58636241

you can download it here: www.webarts.net in the download area (english switch is in the upper right corner)

best regards

Thumbs up

I'm using it in R14.034 in OSX and it works great.
*Make sure to install in the 'scripts' folder in the 'library' folder of your C4D preferences.

couldn't you simply just use hierarchical render settings to achieve the same and more?

Hi LucentDreams,

well yes... but it is much more complicated and the main thing is. fs_preview_render doesnt change your settings. therefor you dont have to remember to switch on the right rendersettings for final render. you just set it up once and use fs_preview_render to get the previews that you need. hard to explain the impact it can make to the workflow.
but not everybody needs to like it (as im not selling it, i dont care to much

best regards
