Cache Velocity and Collision.
And in TurbulenceFD Container - Simulation - Under Velocity - Change the Particle Velocity Scale to 100%

Add a standard emitter at the base of your TFD emiiter (or wherever you want)

That ought to do it.

Render result

It's not so hard at all. Follow what Stuart said and/or take a look at this tutorial I made a while back: https://vimeo.com/30584230.

Cheers,
Josh

Nice tutorial Josh.

Looks great in motion, but slow to compute between frames.
Cached sim - Standard emitter - Instanced spheres - Physical Renderer/Motion Blur

Priest--instead of spheres--try hair. Apply to particle geometry along with hair render tag. Should speed things up lots. (forgive me if you already were aware)

Image has nothing to do with T4D

Well, buggy support. DOF works. MB I do in post. I have had problems getting them to render--but it works. (that image was via phys renderer)
