Samir, are there speed ups in the simulation/render/meshing times in Effex 2?

I can only give real performance times once we reach the release version but yes the simulation is generally noticably faster.

The mesher is slightly faster (it was already super fast before), some optimizations done here concerning performance.

Are you in contact with Stefan relating to effex working within the new VRay.
I hear it supports multiple fog objects and has the potential to render without all the hacks.

I didn't know about a new VRay version to be honest. There is no contact yet but thanks for mentioning it. I'll keep an eye on this one and react accordingly. Of course Effex 2 shall work with VRay just as it does now.

Looking cool, Samir. How about a demo showing a basic wine glass fill. I could never get a decent result with version 1.
