love to see this 2d cell sim inside c4d

I work for pharma group and when i have to make cells i use some noise tricks and illustrations.

I don't know if it is quite usefull for all C4D users but
I saw this in youtube, it's not new but still impressive:

I will love to see that kind of 2d softbodie sim realtime solution, like a realtime interactive shader inside c4d with some effectors interactions. Make some cells or group of cells controled by a null. Cells reacting softly with the deformations of the shape they are in....this kind of things quite difficult to do actualy.

When i use noise, grains overlap and in this exemple i think it's quite usefull to make grains/points never overlap when you have to do certain kind organic effects.

That Voronoi stuff sure pops up a lot.
I would love to see a Python version of this in C4D. The softbody detection would probably slow things down too much for sim, me thinks.
Love to see this type of thing regardless of app.

"Yeah, it could be anything, but it's got to be something!"

This is just amazing. Would love to see this as well.
I've tried to simulate this sort of thing on a much smaller scale using softbody dynamics and pumping up the dynamcis pressure to force the individual cell spheres to squeeze against each other---but nothing as fluid and complex as this.

hi, i have saw other things like this youtube exemple, so some other guys do that kind of effect too on youtube but, no 2d applications to help drawing this kind of things quickly.

i keep searching some cool 2d app like that with others cool controls or options but i haven't find software like that yet. My colleage show me some cool illustrations and microscope photos of seaweeds, very beautifull and some drawings reminding me some long time spending illustrations drawings cells and think to myself is there procedural way to do it today

Really nice! Would definitely be useful to me, for one!

There is a simple implementation on Maybe someone is able to translate it into python?

And here's an implementation for Adobe Illustrator with a library included:

Cool links, thanks typografschaft

I've just found this script for illustrator

Worst case this look could be accomplished with displacement, if it were possible to create an animated version with the necessary gradients. That Illustrator tool is cool though, could easily be implemented to create still displacement backgrounds.

this is exaclty what i will love to see directly inside c4d, for both 2d and 3d.
On the videos, we can see the smoothyness of the transforming structures and it would be amazing to control them by mograph or null objets or with produral texture like they do.
