splineBOOLE | spline from intersecting objects

A basic spline generator, making
a spline out of intersecting objects.

splineGLIDE is updated to support
splineBOOLE for tailoring the result.

Thanks for the plugin, Lennart.

There is a bug on mac OS X 10.8.2 , if a splineBooole generator loaded in a scene
--> this disables "render actual viewport" function
(render donīt stay - only pops up for a millisecond).

Hope you can fix this :-)

Can't reproduce here (OSX 10.8.2 : R14.034),
please supply a scene where it happens.

Using R14.034 ,too.

Send you a simple scene. I try to upload this here, but I canīt get this working

Can Render in preview- and picture-viewer, but not the actual viewport :(

For some reason you need to turn off "Use Display Tag LOD"
in Render Settings.
I've never used that setting my self so I can't
tell why atm.

possible bug


If you set the spheres center to 0,0,0 (same as the cubes), the plug stops working.

Yes, by using splineGLIDE.
splineBOOLE is just a live command
using Cinemas own edge to spline function.
It is what it is.
Besides MoSpline, splineGLIDE
is -the- regenerator tool giving most
spline settings there is.

Just make sure you're placing splineGLIDE
-after- splineBOOLE (later in OM) for correct
generator order.

Next bug:

SplineBOOLE kills the Physical renderer.
Renders fine with Standard, Software, or Hardware

v1.02 is up.
Physical Editor render should now work.
Plus include Generator Objects and Groups
as Sources, a bit slower but more versatile.

While sBOOLE very much can be of help for
active modelling, the need/idea for me was
to be able to create intersecting splines
for emitting particles at collisions such as
in this early experiment.
(The excellent pShade/pCache used)
