Curve from Intersecting Geometry?

Is it possible to create a curve from intersecting geometry? I am using the Broadcast C4D v14. Thanks.

you can try booling a copy and loop selecting the defined edge..then edge to spline..

Thanks Lee! I should have specified that I was looking for a procedural solution. My geometry is moving and I'd like for the curve to dynamically generate itself.

If you don't need strictly a spline, just activate the select intersections and create single object options on your boole object. Then take a cloner with a stick shaped cube, set it to object mode, put in your boole object, set to edge mode, disable the enable option beside the selection slot and enable to restrict to live selection. Voila, you now should have geometry on your intersection looking like a curve following the intersection. Of course your geometry should have enoug subdivisions…

Nitro's (python) magic merge generates an edge selection automatically.

BTW:
For some reason the badredcat file generates a bug report for me,
so I can't view it.
