Vray alpha display in viewport

I haven't been able to find this is the online documentation. Can anyone let me know if Vray for C4D supports material/texture transparency in the viewport?

I saw this video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUIeUKFsJ8U
You can see that once he 'converts' the material to a vray material...the alpha now appears as a solid in the viewport (although it renders properly)

Does the 'Material Weight' (alpha channel) in VrayforC4D appear 'properly' in the viewport showing alpha like a native c4d material or does it appear as a solid?

In a word ... no. I've read that it's a limitation that's being worked on.

Positioning Vray alpha

In his series for an outdoor scene, Shepperd O'Neill has a good work around
for placing and sizing an alpha in vray. Starts at the 17 min mark ... basically.
swapping out a c4d alpha first and then reapplying the alpha for vray.
