A graphical timeline of character development

Literally five years in the making, this photo essay of our villain character's development spans all the way from rough pencil sketch to final rigging and beyond. You'll see some veteran CGTalkers represented, notably Bret Bays, Jim Talbot and Gary Abrehart .

Some of the highlights:

Looking great Mike. This thread title should have the Ottoman in it but the style is gorgeous.

Thanks, but... are you sure about the title thing? I'm not convinced that "Ottoman" has reached brand status.

We're looking forward to posting animation tests as soon as our animators get up to speed with C4D. (Most of them are coming over from Maya.) Progress-wise, we're preparing to launch a Kickstarter campaign in 2013, to raise funding for the animation production work. We'll post any promo clips here as soon as we've got 'em.
