+1

Subbranches are so common in almost all natural forkroot structures that it is almost a must.

Otherwise, great plugin, already helped me a lot.

cheers

Firstly, this is a wonderful plugin.

Secondly, I agree that sub branches would be great.

Best,

Sub-branching is something that I want to do, of course.
Probably for version 2.0 :-)
However, it should require a recursive approach and a completely new and more complex way to create meshes.
Also, I have to design a simple system to control all the branching. The method used in Forkroot is highly controllable and simple. It is hard to make it simple while adding complexity ;-)

Hi Rui,

Have you given any thought to volume licenses, or licensing via Maxon's license server? I want to get this for myself, but it might be a good thing to get for our labs, as well...

I still need to check out how the Maxon license server works.
The problem here is that I don't have a way to test it out because I don't have a set of computers connected through the Maxon server.
Would you be willing to perform a test for me, one the computers that are connected through the server?
Could you create a Null, add it a Python tag and paste the following code into it (replacing everything that is already there)?

import c4d def main(): si = c4d.GeGetSerialInfo(c4d.SERIALINFO_MULTILICENSE) if len(si['nr']) > 0: # Multi-license, do something print "Multi-license" print si else: si = c4d.GeGetSerialInfo(c4d.SERIALINFO_CINEMA4D) print "Single-license" print si # Single-license, do something if __name__=='__main__': main()

Then copy the text that is output to the console and e-mail it to me

How many computers do you have connected to the server?

Hi Rui,

The line breaks are lost in that script you posted; could you repost within <code> blocks?

Here is it, Nick

Code:
import c4d def main(): si = c4d.GeGetSerialInfo(c4d.SERIALINFO_MULTILICENSE) if len(si['nr']) > 0: print "Multi-license" print si else: si = c4d.GeGetSerialInfo(c4d.SERIALINFO_CINEMA4D) print "Single-license" print si if __name__=='__main__': main()

this is a great tool and it could be great to use own spline because i have often to follow an illustration or schema from the client when i have to do that kind of veines things but the cool way of doing it with a unified mesh let the possibility to put a camera inside a veine to follow blood cells
