Forkroot release

A few already noticed that a very silent release of Forkroot already happened, on the 19th of this month. I didn't advertised it because I was still cleaning out some minor issues and, mainly, because I have been very, very busy with other projects.

But it is official now. Forkroot is released.

I still have some very minor issues to iron out but they are really, really minor and don't prevent in any way the full usage of Forkroot.
So, you can get it here:

Also, anyone who already bought it, can download the updated version (v1.01)

Got it - great job Rui

This has so much potential, and room to grow (no pun) in the future.

I would like to remind that for me to send the plugin, I need the 11 digits of the Cinema4D serial :-)

Will this work with R12?
How does it work with NET?
Old 09 September 2012   #9
It is for R13 and up (have to point that out in my site... mental note)
As for NET, I don't know. Probably not because the serialization scheme is very simple and requires that each machine running it to have its how registration file.
But I will try to learn how to make it work on a NET environment.

I uploaded a video showing all the parameters of Forkroot (all three objects)
It is like a video manual :-)

Hey Rui - bought and already loving the possibilities it opens. Great stuff!

One question, I notice that when the 'Change Over Time' checkbox is on, the forkmesh/quadmesh objects deactivate - is that intended? I've had a quick read of the manual, it doesn't seem to be mentioned but I may have missed something.

Cheers! - Chris

Ops, that is definitely a bug :-(
I will look into it and upload a new version as soon as it is fixed.

Yes it is

Going to be useful for all sorts of things, I can see some little organic design elements coming up, and I think we're also going to be seeing a lot of growing vines creeping around.

Nice work!
