Mountain Lion and C4D anyone?

Does anyone already pulled the trigger? Does C4D give any troubles? Adobe CS seems to run fine on ML I read. I usually wait a few months before upgrading, but I get the feeling that ML is only an extended version of SL so maybe there are no issues to be expected.

Seems to be working fine according to:
http://roaringapps.com/apps:table/tags/_c/index_tags/_c

However will test later today....

Testing on a low-risk laptop here. No issues, but I'm getting a 2-point drop in OpenGL score, down from 40 to 38 in Cinebench11. Radeon 6750M.

But hey, Twitter is built in, and that's what counts, right kids!

We don't expect any problems with Mountain Lion

Ok thanks everyone!
Not jumping right in, but it's good to know everything seems safe already.

Only if you base the quality of an update on the quantity of new features. To me the metric of optimization and under the hood refinement is even more important, and ML is not short on that.

I'm crossing my fingers the next version of C4D (R13.5? R14?) will support OpenGL 3 on Mac.

Would love to see OpenCL acceleration of thinking particles and cloners too.

Fair enough, I guess I'm just unaware of what these under the hood updates are!?

I'm still at OS X 10.6.8 as I haven't seen any major performance improvements or new features that I really need. I'll probably upgrade to ML mainly for the security features and to stay current. I don't like falling too far behind on software versions.

Here's what I've got for the OpenGL score over the last few OSX releases. Nothing much has changed on the laptop I've done these tests on so they're fairly valid comparisons.

There's more on barefeats, generally OpenGL in 10.8 is a little slower:

Barefeats

There's more to it that this of course, generally I'm liking 10.8 a bit more than 10.7, mainly for cosmetic reasons, but it's not a performance boost whatever has gone on 'under the hood'.
