Hair render using team render

I'm having a real problem trying to render a field of grass over team render using the hair object. Everything I've read said I just need to cache my hair object and boom be good to go, but everytime I cache it and try again it doesn't work. Anybody have any ideas what it could be and what I can do to fix it?

that's strange, what exactly happens with your hair? Is it just not there? Do you have dynamcs on and it is lying flat on the ground? Do you see it, if you render it in the viewport? Can you render it over Team Renderer when the cache is not used? Do you have the hair renderer in the rendersettings on?

I did a professional project with hair & never got it to work properly with team render.
I would always get incosistant lighting flicker.
We just used Rebus farm, it had no problems at all (propbably being command-line based) and was super-quick.
Cinema 4D R17 Studio, VRAYforC4D, Z Brush, Mudbox, Photoshop CS6.

There are known issues (and confirmed by Maxon) with hair and team render. I've been told a fix is in the works.
