Open CL runtime notice

I did a search and apologize if this is mentioned in one of the other r19 threads. I get this message every time I close a project in Cinema. Is this something I can simply fix with a new graphics card driver? I am PC Windows 10 pro, 64bit with a GeForce GTX 1080 driver 382.05. In my Nvidia control panel under Help there is unfortunately no Update button just a greyed out Debug button. I have a Maxon support request in but was wonder what other users have been doing to safety address this runtime issue/update. Thank you.
Cheers,D

Can you post a screenshot of this message? Anyway you can try install latest Nvidia drivers 385.41. Works fine here with similar setup without any error messages.

ok will get the message to pop up again... thank you. Probably need the new driver too. Do I still need to remove old driver then reboot and start up again in safe mode before installing new driver?
thank you!

It's actually depends on how much you are a tech guy) I usually clean up all drivers with DDU (download it on guru3d.com) and then install new one.

I don't know if this is related or not but thought I'd share my experience. Prior to installing Resolve 14 last week, I updated the nVidia drivers for my GTX 980 Ti. I then ran Resolve and it wouldn't load, complaining that there were no CUDA compliant video cards available.

Eventually, after running out of ideas, I reinstalled the Nvidia drivers and everything was happy. Apparently the first installation had problems and the second attempt cleaned it up. There were no error messages on the first install.

So, if you have an Nvidia card that's supposed to include openCL and C4D claims it doesn't exist, perhaps you're experiencing a similar driver install problem. It's a shot in the dark, but hope it helps.
