Window Cutaway

Decided to do a "cutaway" view of an object. This is a cutaway showing the structure of a modern window.

I started laying this out with polygons initially, but joining up different pieces got kind of annoying.
Then I remembered the Spline Mask object...so most of this is splines and extruded spline masks.

Rendered in Redshift.

very cool, i like a good cutaway.
i would add one thing, if i may, would be to offset the cuts a little bit so its not just one straight slice through the whole thing.

Looks nice with all detail. It shows how elaborate can be a window.

Hi Glen, did you mean keeping the cuts straight but having them at different depths?
Or slanting the cuts?

Nice image Eric, maybe this small detail looks strange...(or gasket is glued?)

Well done ... imo, some AO would be a good finishing touch
