SoftBody Dinamic falloff map Potato Cutting

Hello everyone!
I have an interesting question, so far I was not able to find any solution after research.
Basically Cinema 4d Softbody dynamics is constructed out of springs and invisible connections to which those springs are connected.
I need to dynamically change the influence on those connections.
I am cutting a potato using Veroni Fracture, but now I need to animate it like it was cut into this piecies. So I Thought that if I was able to step by step (linear falloff) influence the picies so that part of the object that is inside that linear falloff map get activated and become influenced by gravity and all of the softbody parameters.
Is there a simple solution like a influence map or I should hard code it?
