How to Split Continuous Spline into Multiple Segments?

Let's say I have a continuous spline with 100 points, and I want to break that spline into separate segments - one from points 0 to 50, and another from points 51 to 100, and in the process delete the portion of the spline between points 50-51.

How might I do this?

Thanks!
Luke

if i understand correctly, here is one approach:

select point 51 and then use the command Break Segment. This will delete the portions of the spline between 50 and 51 as well as between 51 and 52. Now select point 51 and 52 and use the command Join Segment. This will reconnect 51 and 52, leaving you with a connected spline from 0-50 and from 51-100.

Perfect; thanks! One of those silly things I never picked up.

Maxon's approach to spline editing / manipulation often leaves me scratching my head....
Lots of functionality for 'clever' spline manipulation - yet it's still lacking a basic method to accurately draw a simple shape with horizontal and vertical segments and exact dimensions...
