UV Mapping [3Ds Max]

Hello Internet,

I am fairly new to 3D, I made a few 3D Models , but always get stuck at the UV mapping part what results in me never actually getting to complete any model. ( well, besides something very simple like a crate i guess:shrug So as i ran into that problem again , i wondered if anyone could help me to understand what the cause of that problem actually is.

An example of my current model: ( the head is my biggest problem )

Head1
Head2

I dont know if the mesh and/or terrible edgeflow causes this and the whole model is in fact just impossible to unwrap or if the mistake is the unwrapping process itself.

I hope my question is somewhat understandable.

btw. sorry if there are any grammer mistakes but english isnt my native language.

I am kinda terrified to ask such a question because there are so many professionals in this forum, but please be fair i am just getting started.
