Creating a burlap/mesh type material?

Hey guys -

How would you go about creating a material for something like this? I currently just have a file texture, light bump and a transparency map. Not getting that "soft" feel Im looking for. It looks more like canvas.

The 'soft' feel in this image was partly from lighting. See how it has low contrast and very large blurry shadow?
