Game Character Texturing

So, I know some things about texturing. Just a few examples so you see my skill level.

But I feel I could be better. Way better. And I am still no good at making textures for game characters. I know photoshop in and out, but I am having a hard time applying that knowledge to my models.

Generally speaking, I don't have a good pipeline. And after mapping a character model, I am sorta stuck what to do next, in a way. Also, I tend to end up with seams and the tweaking is killing me.

I would appreciate some tutorials specifically for characters. Some pointers. Tips and the like.
This forum seems to be great for getting help.

Thank you very much!
