[3ds Max] Tree canopy problem with normals
I actually have trouble in editing the normals of my planes that make the canopy of my tree.
As you can see in the image below, the normals of my planes are going crazy, they go in any directions... That way in UDK I cannot see all of my canopy because of my normal direction.
I try editing my normals with the speedtree mesh tool (script) in 3ds max but I still don't have a good result for the normal direction of my planes.
Here's what I'm trying to have, a spherical direction of normal:
Is anyone can help me to have such great direction of normals like this image ?

If I remember correctly, there is a plugin for this called "Normal Thief" or something like that.
Basically, you create a sphere object around your canopy and then you "steal" the normals from the sphere and apply them to the canopy/alpha planes.
