How do I texture a high poly model?
I have modelled this helicopter in 3ds max (image attached) and am now trying to figure out how to go about texturing it. I have looked on youtube, digital tutors and google and I can not find any tutorials that explain how to texture something like this.
Are there any goo tutorials out there or does anyone have any advice on how to go about texturing this.

I think it's pretty straight forward. It's high poly but not very complicated.
Break down the model into parts, cylindric parts get a cylindric UVW mapping, boxy parts a box mapping and so on.
If it's a symmetric model you can delete one half, unwrap it and use a symmetry modifier.
