Export texture from object

Hi, I was searching in the forum a post similiar to this and I could no find any information about. The point is that I´m looking for the option to export a texture from an object. For Example. I created a plane and a started deforming with push and pull tools, creating an irregular surface, then I apply a gradient map to define the lower areas, medium and the highest ones. Now I wanna take the map of the object in a good resolution to use as a displacement map.

My english is not perfect sorry

Thanks

We need to know what software you're using. All will be different.

Texture baking is the key. Then save the texture map images to disk.
