Character Peter

Here's my second WIP character. Side and back views are to follow. And yet his military costume too! For now I'm working on a concept and taking rest from my Chan character.

I started blocking out the military outfit. It's a swimming costume with the outfit over it, as he will swim a lot.

Thanks Oliver. How is your tank going, I'm still waiting.
Some more updates. Well, I'm not sure if going into more detail or trying some basic blocking in zbrush and see how it goes. I will look later.

Really good sketches. One can surely envision your character with them. Waiting for the modeling part, and come back for your Chan soon!

Thank you for the dope, guys. Sure if you see something wrong, don't hesitate telling me.

Ok, now that you mentioned it, I think his body is a like big compared with his legs and arms. I'm no anatomy expert so I may as well be completely wrong, that's just a feeling I had while looking at your sketches.

Cheers!

Thanks buddy. Do you mean the torso? In width or height? I will check the proportions.

Wide. But again, I'm no expert in human proportions!! Probably it's just me, but as you intend realism, it's a good idea to check your references.

Cheers!

Yep, I think you're right.

I started blocking out the dude.

Good, it's coming along nicely. There are areas with some pinching in the crouch and some strangeness under the arms. But the musculature is being very well done and I'm sure this model will improve even more in the updates to come!

Cheers!

Good points, David, thank you.

I agree with david. The proportions are a bit off. I would go for 8 heads tall and add that to the legs in length they just look a bit off. I wanna see more cause this one has something that I think will look great.
